Targeted Participants:

Alano
and other interested 12 Step Clubs’ Board of Directors and
Members,
Basically, anyone interested in making a difference in your
club.

Background:

This
seminar was first organized to be held at Aurora University
– George Williams Lake Geneva Campus, Williams Bay, WI.
To be held over 3 days March 22, 23 and 24, 2002.
The facilities are excellent for this type of seminar and we
appreciate their cooperation,
but a 1-day workshop would be better suited for something
smaller.
Therefore, the 2002 Alano Club Seminar has been revised to a 1-day
event.
Interest has been strong and the committee is enthusiastic
about the attendance.
However, we have decided it is best to start small and grow
as our needs grow.

Mission:

The
2002 Alano Club Seminar will focus on education, motivation
and
communication for Alano (and other 12
step)
Clubs.
This is an excellent opportunity to share experience,
strength and hope with other clubs.
Too often competition for membership between clubs inhibits
what could be a healthy support network.
Our goal is to facilitate communication and exchange
information.
